CALL FOR PAPERS
ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND LABOUR RIGHTS
We are pleased to announce that the Asian Society of Labour Law (AsianSLL) will hold its 2024 Conference on 7-8 November 2024 (Thursday to Friday), at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. The conference theme is “Business Corporate Responsibility and Workers’ Rights”.
The conference will delve into crucial aspect of labour law, with a particular focus on:
1. Social Justice and Supply Chain
2. Gig Economy – Digitalization and Labour
3. Workplace Violence and Harassment.
4. Climate Change and Just Transition
5. Social Dialogue
6. Other Emerging Labor Rights Issues
We invite labour law professors, practitioners, scholars, students and anyone who is interested in the field of labour law – especially those with a focus on labour law in Asia – to submit abstracts of 500 words with an outline on any subject above, in DOCX format.

We will communicate the acceptance of the abstract and provide a subsequent link for the submission of the full paper. The paper should adhere to the citation style of the Harvard Bluebook 20th Edition system.
Important Dates:
- Abstract Submission Deadline: 30 April 2024 (Tuesday)
- Acceptance Notification: 31 May 2024 (Friday)
- Full Paper Submission Deadline: 16 September 2024 (Monday).
