About Princess Bejaratana Legal Resources Center

The Law Library at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University was royally bestowed “Princess Bejaratana Legal Resources Center”, in honor of Princess Bejaratana, the only daughter of His Majesty King Rama VI who founded Chulalongkorn University. Princess Bejaratana was a main benefactor of the law library, as she donated the first grant to build it on November 3, 2000. The Bejaratana-Suvadhana Foundation, as heir by will, approved the name change of the law library to “Princess Bejaratana Legal Resources Center” on January 23, 2015, to commemorate the Princess’s intention to carry on and fulfill the aspiration of her late father in strengthening the law education and the higher education for years to come.

Service Areas

The Law Library has service areas spanning across 4 floors of Debdvaravati Building.

Floor 1 – Law Chula Learning Space

The Law Chula Learning Space is a dedicated, bright, and spacious area on Floor 1 of Debdvaravati Building designed to accommodate Law Chula students in their quest to excel in their learning and researching. The friendly environment allows students to exchange their ideas and foster their creativity and collaboration, with continued support from the team of Law Chula librarians.

Floor 2 – Entrance, Borrow/Return, Printing

Floor 2 serves as the main entrance and exit of the law library. Book borrowing and returning service is located at the entrance. Printing service and computer lab are also located on this floor.

Floor 3 – Books (Silent Zone)

Floor 3 houses a collection of Thai and foreign law books. It is also designated as the Silent Zone where no conversations are permitted, and all devices should be silenced and used with headphones.

Floor 4 – Books and Theses

Floor 4 houses a collection of Thai and foreign law books. There are 4 small meeting rooms, where students can reserve for group discussion or group work.
